NIGERIAN GENERAL ELECTION

The people’s Democratic Party (PDP) has dominated Nigerian politics since democracy was established in 1999, while opposition parties have been unable to present any serious opposition in the past, they have been unable to present any challenge to the PDP in National Elections.

In 2015, the All progressive Congress (APC) may present the PDP’s first serious opposition since 1999. The party is a coalition of several other parties in the country including the Congress for Progressive Change, Action Congress of Nigeria and the All Nigeria people’s party. This coalition represented several provincial governors on formation and has been fed by other governors and politicians defecting from the PDP.

If the coalition holds, the APC may be able to win a majority in the national senate providing a defeat for the PDP for the first time.

After a botched governor’s election in Anambra state, there are serious concerns that the election may not go smoothly. The Country’s election commission has promised a better election process and fair elections may help prevent the violence that has plagued previous Nigerian election.

Everyone thinks PDP would win the presidential seat because APC (Buhari and his cohorts)  are making Nigerians realize that, they are behind the problems in his administration and it may give him (GEJ) more votes………… And prominent people are supporting him (Dangote) and PDP is the most corrupt party they know how to maneuver votes and it is almost obvious that APC are  behind the insurgency in Nigeria, those at the fore front of the #Bringbackourgirls protest are APC  leaders………. They did it to pressurize the president and to make people feel that GEJ Administration is incompetent and that he doesn't have sympathy for Nigerians.

Foregone conclusion, it really makes no difference if my bluntness offends some people, especially those who have put their broken eggs in the APC basket. I am not a Goodluck Jonathan Supporter and have never been and will never be a card  carrying member of the PDP, All I do is call it as I see it and this is what I see quite clearly. The result of the 2015 presidential election has been declared the day Goodluck Jonathan finally declares his candidacy. That is the reality of Nigerian politics today. All those currently seeing vision of an APC victory will quickly wake up from their slumber. Those who are sitting on the fence will be contained to fall in line behind him.

Nigerian politics are not suicidal they are limited liability companies. They are only interested in “Number One” they know there are no cigars for losers.
2015 election is gonna be a like every other election Nigerians have seen but the tendency and probability of foul play is high. We pray the peace of God reign. God bless Nigeria.
